I posted this on another blog earlier today, as it struck me how it can apply to so many things in someone’s life or even the various parts of someone’s life. I forget that he occasionally follows that blogger as well…until I see this message in my inbox:

Great food for thought…..when I read that my answer was immediately my daughter….that is if I had only one memory of my entire life to choose from….kinda puts things into perspective
exactly. I posted it because at the time, I was thinking of my young son and the first time he said “i love you” really meaning it. we’ve always been told that as a child on the autism spectrum he would never utter those words or even understand them.
