There’s been a bit of hovering these past several days, the freedom to post limited by a multitude of factors. But what I’ve noticed in so many is a recurring theme. Of moving onward, forward in the various journey’s that I follow.
Some are making deliberate choices to forge ahead, even leaving their blogs as a way to move forward. Others are taking tentative steps, some painful, some resigned and yet others unfettered in a way they haven’t been in years.
And a small few are struggling mightily, for a multitude of reasons to make any moves at all. And yet, each are determined to persevere, to stretch and grow. I find each of them inspiring in their own way. Brave with courage in their hearts.
And then there are some that think they are making progress because they have not returned to a prior location, yet unknowingly, they are only spinning their wheels.
Well said… and so true in many levels in all of our lifes…
I really liked your perspective. It’s magical how themes run through so many different blogs at times. It reminds me that there is a greater force and that we are so similar in many ways. I love C.S. Lewis too.
I loved this since you put it up, but I needed it today!! Thank you ❤️
Very insightful and beautiful! Hope you are doing well friend!
Well, now I know who and what Gardener was referring to. As for me, I think your post is beautiful and heartfelt.
Growth is a pretty poor goal. How about just being a decent human with a conscience? It would be a start. And to put perpetrators and victims in the same club is just plain disrespectful. Murderers and their victims’ families don’t have the same journey either.
^^yikes!
